Monday the 27th

Past few days have seen sun, sun and sun (until today which was rain, rain, rain!) but not much photo work. Picked up my new bike (whoot!) so that's taken up a chunk of time. I did, however, do some more work on my Nikon entry which is coming along nicely. The pic at the top's another sample. More importantly, look how pretty my bike is!

Wednesday the 15th

Had a lazy day in today and worked on a few projects. The following pics are a rough (ie photoshop auto) edit of an ongoing images capturing interesting shadows and playing with the way light falls. It was something I was going to work on but at the moment my entry for the nikon assistance award is taking precedent so I though I'd show a few of these.

Monday the 13th

The pic above's a quick sample from a big project I'm working on - one that'll win me the Nikon assistance award hopefully! More on that soon...

No other news - got a good chunk of that done and went home to Yorkshire t see a few friends which was nice. The bank holiday's been spent with me and Roch crafting (hahaha) and trying t fix Nipsy's bikecycle.

Sun's been out though... and I got a new Walkmen track....

Monday the 6th

A fairly uneventful few days all round due to the lovely sun ad my DISTINCT lack of inspiration in the photography department - the project I've been working on aren't coming out that well - Roch suggested a good one to me which I'm going to start planning out.

Went home for my brothers birthday which was nice to see the gang but no news there either!

Wednesday the 1st

Well, my technology issues are at least partly resolved so I'm able to update my blog again!

Mostly worked during the missing days - went home for mother's day to catch up with the gang which was nice. Took photos of people on the bus. Ate Ice cream at Manchester fort. Enjoyed the sun.

Friday the 20th

Has this become the Rory and Roch do lunch blog?!

Not much to report really. We hung out with our friend Nips and had a nice bit of grub in Cups. The day was beautiful and I worked on a few photos for a few of my other projects - the sun made a lot of shadows... very important for one of them! I also found +1 magazine, which used to be in the back of the now defunct Document magazine, which I really mourned. Anyhoo, look at t'other blog to see more. Bye x

Not done much today, pottered around the house, worked on some photo projects and drank ALOT of tea so just grabbed my camera for this pick... I like the way they look on the wall.

Not much to report today, we had a nice day in town and an Epic scrabble battle! I found something good for my other blog though...

Working on some stuff today, so not much time for other photos, but I did wander round the Northern Quarter for a bit and saw this great building.

So the Manc rains have been out this week, and the new job has taken it's toll so I've not taken many pictures - I'll try and get back on it on Wednesday... I've got a project in the brewing...

First day off today, so lunch in Oklahoma and a few pics where in order... now for an evening with a pot of coffee and the new issue of Adbusters. Perfect.

The sun came out in Manc today - so we went for a mooch around Ladybarn ghetto! New job tommorrow...

Hullo

Hi all, apologies for the lack of posts and now sudden revamp.

A bit of news... as of 2 weeks I'll be moving to Manchester to live the life of the big city boy with a very beautiful woman. I intend to keep this blog just to out current work up and show the new parts of my life, more for me than anyone else.

I've got half an eye on starting to show once I'm settled here and I've got a good portfolio together, so I'll you all posted on that here too.

Anyhoo, just bought a new camera, and my mac's had/having a rejig so soo as we're back in business I'll start posting pics - the last few shots of my familiar haunts.
